All Breeds Sledding Training Academy

This club is established so that anyone interested in learning more about the dog powered sport called mushing can join. My aim is to provide you with all you need to know about mushing to be able to enjoy this dog powered sport. After reading books and mushing in Alaska with my musher friends I wanted to share what I have learned with other Husky and pet dog owners. This is to improve the well being of human dog relationships.

It's a fun way to stimulate, socialize and exercise your dog and much needed for the working dog, especially Huskies of all breeds.

We do not have any breed specifics to join our club. The only requirements are that dogs are willing, both dog and owner are having fun and that all are safe and make use of the right equipment. We also have a terms and conditions form to be completed by all members along with a annual fee.

We get together on a monthly basis @ 7:00am so that dogs don't over heat. Our season starts end of March and ends in September.

We make use of imported mushing gear like Man Mat and Alpine Outfitters as well as international training standards apply.Even though we are very focused on the right way of training and safety we are not part of any national organization for organized events. We also provide mushers courses by helping new and veteran mushers learn technique and cues that you will not find any place else in S.A.

We provide different classes: bike-joring, canicrossing, scootering and carting with different trails. We run just outside of Joostenberg Vlakte.

This club is purely for people who love spending time with their dogs doing what their dogs love to do. We are a small group of people so that we are able to assist and guide all mushers on the trail and provide them with only the best information and training. gear are available from our dog-care-centre "shop".
